Why most Haitian are poor in a rich country?

There is multiple reason that show why Haitian people are poor, let me state some of them and I am going to talk about it:

1) Wrong mindset

2) Charity mentality

3) We do not know how money works

4) We do not take advise from the best

5) We follow the script the society set for us

6) We are gambling instead of investing

We left Haiti for a better life, but most of the time what we expect that's not the life we are living. However, there is plenty way we can create that. Sometimes we let money get the best of us or we avoid money at all costs.
